“An abstraction of what a family used to look like."
Mark Leno’s Latest Redefinition
On July 2, the Daily Mail (UK) reported: “From the dawn of time, the natural order of things has been that a child has two parents: a mother and a father, but a new bill that is currently before the California state Assembly might change all that.
State Senator Mark Leno has proposed legislation to allow a child to have multiple parents. “The bill brings California into the 21st century, recognizing that there are more than Ozzie and Harriet families today….
“SB 1476 stems from an appellate court case last year involving a child's biological mother, her same-sex partner, and a man who had an affair with the biological mother and got her pregnant while she was separated temporarily from her female lover.”
The Daily Mail quoted Karen Anderson, of the California Protective Parents Association, who objected to the bill: ‘It's hard enough for children to be split up two ways, much less multiple ways,’ she told the Sacramento Bee..
In the San Jose Mercury News, Ed Howard, senior counsel for the Children's Advocacy Institute at the University of San Diego School of Law, and an advocate for the legislation offered this justification: "It's not us who have changed the nature of families; families have done it on their own…It is cruel to prevent judges from ruling a way that protects kids in favor of an abstraction of what a family used to look like."
This is not the first redefinition engineered by Leno. He sponsored a number of bills attempting to redefine marriage in the state of California , all of which were vetoed by then-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is also the sponsor of SB 48, a bill with the professed intention of the prevention of “bullying” but whose actual intent is brainwashing children into the affirmation of homosexuality.
As Leno said in a press release announcing the bill "Most textbooks don't include any historical information about the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) movement, which has great significance to both California and U.S. history…" Pro-family groups are currently trying to overturn SB 48.
Leno is one of the worst of the many bad San Francisco Democratic politicians who have completely “demoralized” California government. Leno is a supporter and regular attendee at San Francisco’s disgusting Folsom Street Fair. From a September 2010 article in the Bay Area Reporter: “The city's long-established leather community tends to enjoy a strong relationship with city government. ‘Local politicians have been very friendly and supportive,’ said Liza Sibley, executive producer of Ms. San Francisco Leather. ‘[State Senator] Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) has always been fabulous for the leather community. [Assemblyman] Tom Ammiano (D-San Francisco) has always been wonderful in talking to the leather community.’ In addition,’ she observed, ‘District 8 supervisor candidates Rebecca Prozan, Scott Wiener, and Rafael Mandelman were present at this year's annual Leather Walk.’ ‘This is a rare Folsom I'll miss,’ Leno told the Bay Area Reporter.”
The character of San Francisco’s political structure was highlighted this past week with the arrest of long-time “gay rights icon” Larry Brinkin. Brinkin, a highly respected member in San Francisco politics, who served for more than 20 years on the City’s Human Rights Commission, and received a salary of $135,000, was arrested for the possession of child pornography.
The alternative SF Weekly reported “The warrant (for Brinkin’s arrest) claims these e-mails contained images of children as young as perhaps a year old being sodomized by and performing oral sex on adult men. Zack3737@aol.com -- whom the police allege is Brinkin -- provided graphic commentary on the photos of interracial adult-child sex. Comments included "I loved especially the n***** 2 year old getting nailed. Hope you'll continue so I can see what the little blond b**** is going to get. White Power! White Supremacy! White D*** Rules!" [Editing added.]
On his retirement from the Human Rights Commission, the city’s board of supervisors named the first week in February “Larry Brinkin Week.” As CalCatholic reported, Brinkin was joined on the Human Rights Commission by Patrick Mulcahey, a man who openly keeps a “slave” and gives workshops promoting the “Master/slave” lifestyle.
Publication of Brinkin’s arrest, which occurred on Friday, June 22,was delayed until Monday, June 25, so as not to cast a pall over the City’s Gay Pride parade, held on June 24.
The response to the Brinkin case seems rather mild. The San Francisco District Attorney is still deciding whether to file charges. The San Francisco Chronicle has not followed up on this case, which took place in its own backyard, and which has made news internationally, since the initial story of Monday, and a second story on June 26.

This country is becoming the new Roman empire. And we know what happened to them. May God have mercy on us. This is completely disgusting.

The history of the lgbt movement is important but we won't get the truth in school text books. Text books will be written to equate lgbt history with Ozzie and Harriet. The reality is much darker. There is a history all right ... And it details the destruction of society.

California is already a mockery of what a state should be. This proposal by the wild-eyed extremist Leno is another step on the path chosen long ago. When the last American moves out, ask them to take down the flag.
Another episode of lunacy, and the worst part of it, I was not surprised by it in the least. As a native Californian who escaped to middle America, it saddens me to see what is accepted there.

It is called, " ALL IN THE FAMILY!" However, the outfits the guys are wearing, should we say, are a bit much!! The PRADA look never goes out of style! Rush Limbaugh, would look great in an outfit like that at the GOP National Convention, see you there!!!

Terrific "leather" photo of Leno and his buddies. Just in case readers don't know, the leather fetish is part of the S/M (sado-masochist) culture. Here we have the Chair of the California Senate Budget & Fiscal Review Committee, a Senator who carries a number of critical Bills, and who is a major player in the same-sex "marriage" and homosex education movements - and he is proudly appearing in his "leathers". Can it get any worse in California? Yeah, he could run for governor, or be appointed by a re-elected Obama to head up a new agency called the Department of Children.

The poor children now a days have a tough enough
time growing up, and now this!!!
Everyone, please remember that the majority of this
evil action is not being done by the natives, these are
people from other areas of the world or country.
I say this as a 4th generation San Franciscan... and believe
me, this is NOT the City that my family helped establish!!!!

"MULTIPLE PARENTS?" good grief, if i had had that, i would hever have gotten away with one darned thing. my mom and dad we eagle eyed enough to keep my on the straight and narrow, so the idea of having MULTIPLE parents makes me think i would probably have been eating okra & brussel srpouts & other icky things as a toddler, while one of my MULTIPLE parents watched...scary.

I am so disgusted I am not sure if I can say anything without causing scandal myself. Homosexuals should be called homosexuals, people, so, as this is still a protected liberty (freedom to call a homosexual a homosexual regardless of their preference) call them HOMOSEXUALS. Please do not be intimidated, or put off, by their antics. If we are going to be anything, the best thing we can be is honest, like them. They are honestly HOMOSEXUAL so let them have their rightful lable, let them revel and rebel all they want in their perversion. They are clearly perverted people and clearly perform perverted acts. To support that is in itself a perversion, so, this person here will not support perversion, or people who perform perverted acts, like homosexuals and/or their "leather" sub-culture. I don't have to like it, and I don't, so if anyone decides to scold me for that, bring it on. You will be making me laugh out loud. You are welcome to your perversion, and are free to do that, but I don't have to like it, or support it. Last time I looked, it was still okay to NOT like homosexuality, and I DON'T.

The DA is still deciding if to charge Brinkin? If this had been a priest, it would have been in every newspaper, tv station and news agency from here to the end of the world. This is a good indication of how the sin of homosexuality progresses and brings about greater sin, a sin against a child, and the CA Assembly wants to promote same sex families. Our thirst for sin as a culture is creating more sin than we can handle. We have a lot of work to do to educate people on the meaning of human sexuality. God Love You.

Ozzie and Harriet was an unrealistic ideal in programming but did express much as that ideal. California with it's sickos in government want to please their sicko constituents rather than stand for anything worthwhile like their brethren in Hollywood.

These men look like boa constrictors who've just swallowed their pigs whole. Where's PETA when you need them? It must have taken a whole herd of cows to cover those launder and rumble seats. The thought of innocent children coming into contact w/such unwholesome pulchritude turns my stomach...as does seeing men made by God in His image utterly debase themselves.

Just when I thought the morality of some of the people running the state of California couldn't get any worse, some other depravity becomes public. Since it requires the votes of tens of thousands of people to elect a legislator, think of how many agree with Leno and his ilk. Daily, I wonder how long God will allow this evil to grow.

A depiction of the personality and a description of the arrogance of individuals such as these was written nearly 2000 years ago in the first chapter of Romans. They 'pride' themselves in their perversions and wish to force their lifestyle on us. In Old Testament times, they pounded on the door of Lot's house. Today they are pounding on your door.

Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse has a 4 part series on the Diocese of Sacramento's website titled "Same-Sex Marriage: Why Not?" Dr. Morse's comments in her EWTN-televised address to Aquinas College Nashville's conference "Love and Life in the Divine Plan", Feb. 25-26, 2011, are apropos of the State Senator Mark Leno, "multiple parent" story: The end-game of the "marriage equity" agitations are for government to destroy the heart of the family by biologically separating children from their genetic parents. (In countries where "gay marriage" is already established, SSA people have almost no interest in it.) Never mind that children do best when raised in biologically intact families. Government seeks to the absolute power to define who "parents" are. (See lifesitenews.com/tag/lisa+miller ). Once government achieves this goal and parents lose the freedom to help their children grow toward holiness & happiness, government will drop like a hot potato, the poor SSA people it's now exploiting under cover of "compassion". This destruction of the family was the goal of Friedrich Engels, philosophical ancestor of Marxism. This was the goal of the Frankfurt School (see catholicinsight.com/online/features/article_882.shtml , "The Frankfurt School: Conspiracy to corrupt", Timothy Matthews, April 2009.)

why haven't the mainstream press reported the arrest of Brinkin?

It's really not the people's voice but only a few perverted ones who for some reason have been getting away with allowing these stupid and evil laws to pass through! YUCK!

The issue of government control of the definition of the word "parent", is addressed directly in the Youtube video "Who Decides Parenthood - Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse at Franciscan University". Description: "Uploaded by FranciscanUSteubie on Feb 16, 2011 - Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse discusses how the movement toward same-sex marriage breaks down entirely the traditional meaning of 'parent' and will necessitate an indispensable role for the government to determine who counts as a parent and who doesn't. Her lecture was part of the Distinguished Speakers Series sponsored by the Franciscan University Office of Advancement. "

Barbara, For many years they wanted faithful Catholics to leave parishes too and many did leave. Who was the victor in that battle? The victor was fifty plus years of watered down teaching with tons of sloppy agape love crammed down our truth desiring and starving throats. Epistle of St. Paul to the Romans Chapter 5:19 Douay-Rheims Bible "And where sin abounded, grace did more abound." Repeated Breaking news to worn down warriors! Do not lose heart! Yes, this is a mighty battle but Almighty God Wins the War!

Look at those three. What kind of life would a little boy have in that household? What kind of horrors would a little girl be exposed to there?
|
Posted Thursday, July 05, 2012 6:41 PM By Maryanne Leonard
SoCal, in answer to your question, there are now books written by adult children of homosexual fathers that will tell you exactly what kinds of horrors little girls are exposed to in situations like that. As many challenges as I have had getting over the severely abusive and exploitative mother and father that I had, I am everlastingly grateful that they were in most other ways normal, upstanding citizens and faithful to their own family responsibilities. The overt and subtle horrors to which little kids are exposed from homosexual parenting are legion and terribly sad, and even liberal mental health researchers have reported negative findings for such children. It is horrifying to think of where our society is going and tragic to consider the lasting effects on innocent, vulnerable children.

Saint Matthew chapter 18 Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible:[1] At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? [2] And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, [3] And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. [4] Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven. [5] And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me. [6] But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. [7] Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh. [8] And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. [9] And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee having one eye to enter into life, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. [10] See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Childrfen need their own mother and their own father to take care of them as much as possble. Shoving children back and forth between two divorced parents is bad enough, but Mark Leno's legislation is a sure-fire recipe for disaster for children and future generations. What is wrong with this generation that they think only of their wants and pleasures, and nothing about what is good children and society in genreal. Some treat children worse than dogs or the great white whale. No wonder this is called the Me Generation.
